Meet the Clinicians

Victoria Wasserman, BSN, RN, CRNA, BCN

Mrs. Wasserman received her Nursing Degree from Western Connecticut State University and pursued her postgraduate studies, in Anesthesia, at the Hospital of St. Raphael’s School of Nurse Anesthesia in New Haven, CT.  Her 23 years as a CRNA, utilizing continuous physiologic monitoring, make her uniquely qualified as a provider of both Biofeedback and Neurofeedback.  She has been in private practice for the past 12 years, initially, as owner of Neurotherapeutics, a holistic Nursing Practice in West Hartford, CT and most recently as Director of Neurofeedback Services at The Montreal Neurofeedback Center.

Victoria is an Associate Fellow of the BCIA, holding board certification in Neurofeedback and utilizes that powerful technology together with QEEG Brain Mapping, Peripheral Biofeedback, Guided Imagery, Mindfulness Training and Vibro-Acoustic Music Therapy to create a multi-modality approach to Mind-Body Medicine. She is experienced with Brain Based problems, such as ADD/ADHD, and Post Concussion Syndrome as well as Disorders of Regulation, including Chronic Pain Management, Migraine Headaches, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Anxiety and Depression and more.

James Hausler, LMHC, NCC

Brain Healing Center Clinician, Jim Hausler holds a Dual Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage, Family, Couples Counseling & Therapy from Barry University. He has worked in Dual Diagnosis Treatment settings (Mental Health and Addiction) and Psychiatric hospitals providing group, individual, family and couples counseling, having worked in all levels of care from outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization and inpatient. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. He has spoken at Nova Southeastern University, Florida Atlantic University and Barry University and is one of the founders of a professional group for practicing Narrative Therapy in South Florida. He is a member of the American Counseling Association and Florida Council on Compulsive Gambling. Jim is registered with the BCIA, Biofeedback Certification International Alliance.

Jim has held roles as Therapist and Clinical Director in various mental health settings. He appreciates working with clients and helping them to develop their strengths. He also has a fond appreciation for utilizing technology in Neurofeedback to further assist clients to achieve their goals. Jim provides qEEG LORETA Neurofeedback (also referred to as brain biofeedback) and Mental Health Counseling for adults and children. individuals, couples and families. He is excited to offer different therapeutic modalities to his clients to best serve their needs.
